This month’s  Membership Meeting is on TUESDAY April 2nd, at 6:00pm at McGirk’s Pub in Chenango Bridge. Our guest speaker will be Jeff Poulin from the Tioga Velo Club talking about their event series this season and general cycling information.

Run – Bike – Run
RBR is scheduled to begin this week (Wednesday, April 3rd) at 6:00pm at the CF Bus Garage location. If there is inclement weather (heavy rain, thunder/lightning or temperature below 50) we will make the cancellation announcement on our website and Facebook page by 4pm. Due to some safety concerns we are reworking the new Endicott route and will update the website when they have been finalized.

FirstTri Group
Any members that are doing their first triathlon this season (and any others that wish to join in) are invited to participate in our FirstTri training group. Our FirstTri committee will help you understand the components of a triathlon and answer any questions that you have about equipment, training or nutrition. Our FirstTri Newsletter includes links to helpful video links and training programs to help you get ready to the Broome County Triathlon on June 29th. If you want to be included please reply to this message with “FirstTri” in the body and we will add you to the mailing list. We anticipate having a FirstTri members get-together in Late-April. More information to follow.

Swim Clinic
Our first swim clinic of the season was a splashing success!! Thanks to all of you that were able to attend. We are planning on having another swim clinic in late April or early May and will announce the date and location very soon. Don’t forget- Open Water Swim starts on Memorial Day weekend. The fee is $30 and runs every Monday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
